Global Leadership and Personal Transformation: My YPO Journey

At 29, I embarked on an incredible journey with YPO, an odyssey that would take me from Indiana to the global stage, shaping my leadership and worldview. Surrounded by mentors and friends, I navigated from Central Region Chair to YPO International Chair, contributing to the organization’s expansion and impact worldwide.

Over 18 months, I visited 105 countries, engaging with world leaders and YPO chapters, witnessing firsthand the organization’s transformative power. This journey wasn’t just about the places I visited; it was about the connections made, the perspectives gained, and the profound impact on my family and me.

YPO taught me the importance of looking beyond our immediate surroundings, to seek out those who can truly enrich our journey. From discussions on spirituality in Jeddah to meetings with figures like Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama, my YPO experience has been a testament to the organization’s unparalleled capacity for personal and professional growth.

I’m deeply grateful for the mentorship and friendship of YPO Indiana’s members, who have played a pivotal role in my journey. Their support has not only propelled me to global leadership positions but also instilled a profound sense of pride in our local chapter’s contributions to the global YPO network.
